Isabelle Di Marco is a long-established artist/decorator based in the Old Port district of Marseilles (Provence). She produces a variety of decorative works to a high professional standard using a wide range of techniques: restoration and decoration of furniture, interior decoration, murals, shop frontages, architectural models, theatrical and exhibition scenery, hyper-realist fish painted on driftwood, mobiles, etc. She draws her inspiration from the local area and marine environment. She is often to be found wandering in the fish market and lively back streets or walking along the Mediterranean coastline in search of ideas and material. It is this unique combination of local inspiration and material that gives her work its distinctive style with an international appeal. It has attracted commissions and orders from as far afield as Paris, Geneva, London, Greece and Canada.
